A Place for Women to Thrive in Business

Women Thrive in Business

Home should be a natural greenhouse for feminine industry, a place for women to thrive in business and still embrace the calling of home life.

Blisters are still made.

Struggle and toil still happen and hearts are still broken.

Income is still earned and bills still paid.

But the rewards are unfathomably greater and the success sweeter.

The women here don’t have time for meaningless gossip and water cooler chats, because they have a foundation of purpose and a far reaching vision. They are more than just wage slaves, they have the freedom to take risk.

These women are powerful, purposeful creatures. They are raising families, creating new businesses, bringing back the backyard homestead, bringing back the domestic tranquility we’ve sacrificed for commercialism.

In our assembly line lifestyle we’ve lost our uniqueness, our capabilities are obscured. We get so caught up on keeping up with the Jones, we’ve forgotten that we are capable of getting ahead. We could and should be the trend setters.

Yet we won’t take a little risk, we won’t sacrifice our normal for what could be extraordinary.

How many great business don’t exist because the woman who could, who should have created them were too busy working as a secretary making some other guy rich? She is capable of running big league markets from the comfort of her home and we have her in an office, sequestered from her family and her natural environment.

History is screaming for our attention, ‘this doesn’t work’, and yet we push and shove our children into the corporate market place so they can survive instead of raising homemakers that are destined to thrive.

Not all of these women run their own enterprise, some are supporting their husband’s business, they are managing homes with one hand and raising children with the other, allowing him to be more, to do more, by her simply running the castle, he is fighting and winning the wars abroad.

Don’t you see? A woman at home is not a doormat, she’s the key to a successful family and home enterprise. We’ve been listening to the wrong voices, the ones that tells us in order to be equal, we have to be the same.

How silly to think that in order for cats and dogs to be equal as pets they both have to bark. How foolish to assume that in order for a woman to be as worthy as a man she had to bear both his and her part of the curse.

In the name of equality, in order to keep up with the Smiths, the queen has gone to do the soldiers job, leaving hers untended. And no one understands why the castle is crumbling and the kingdom is in recession.

Women everywhere, for the sake of the castle, the kingdom, in the interest of real women’s rights, if it is at all possible, bring it on home ladies. Bring it on home.
