When I was growing up my mother loved Avon, and I was the only daughter so I was spoiled with all kinds of trinkets.
Some of my favorite things she’d buy me were the pins that had chap-stick or perfume in them! Anyone else remember these? I just LOVED them!
(This one was my favorite! The legs swung back and forth.)
Last week I was contacted by Katie, at Maidens for Modesty who is making and selling these nice lockets with organic lip balm in them. What a flood of memories that came to me.
Sunday I wore my new locket to church… I just love it! I especially love that it came with a long chain. After I use up the wonderful, mint flavored lip balm I may add some more to it, or maybe put a picture of my grandchildren in it. Until then I am enjoying it just the way it is!
You know I get excited when I see young people with an entrepreneurial spirit! And I really love it when I see families working together to build their family economy! So I am thrilled to share what this sweet family is doing, and how Katie and her sisters are eagerly working with their hands.

My Auntie Jane sold Avon and I had all 3 of those pins!! I loved that stuff when I was growing up, so spoiled! I saved some of my earrings to give to my dd after they get their ears pierced. What fun memories I am thinking of! also what a nice giveaway!
