Baby it’s cold outside! How about working up some scraps into a WARM quilt?! Nothing beats the warmth of a quilt.

You don’t need new fabrics to make a quilt. Think about the (cotton) clothes you have that are not being worn. What about what the kids have outgrown? How about old sheets? Quilting does not have to be an expensive hobby. It actually started out as a necessity, making do with what you had. Maybe it’s time to recapture the art of quilting with the purpose it started with?!

1 Thing that REALLY Ticks Me Off!

I hear it all the time, although not in my house because I can fix it in a heartbeat, but I hear it from the young and the not-so-young and it REALLY ticks me off.

“I’m bored…”

It’s bad enough to hear this from a child who is on summer break and is used to having most of his day all planned out for him; but to hear this from teens, or even worse, grown adults just sends me over the edge.
