Let’s learn something new in less than 10 minutes!

Olivia and her Can’t *Liv* without Biscuits and Sausage Gravy!

Everyone is busy and the last thing we want to do is to add more to our day, but at the same time we want to always be learning, always improving. :)

Surely we can take 10 minutes once a week and learn something new, or learn a new way of doing something?

Lessons in Less than Ten will be short video tutorials that you can watch online, hey, you can even sip a glass of ice cold lemonade and put your feet up for 10 minutes while you learn!

Titus 2:3 says that we are to be "...teachers of good things...". We believe that part of these good things are practical skills that we all need in every day life to care for our family and neighbors. One of our primary responsibilities as parents is equip our children with the skills and tools to one day be productive, well rounded adults. Children need to be exposed to many different areas of work. Not only should they know how to work, but they should want to work. May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us- yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17

One of our favorite breakfasts is scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy! I’ve always followed a recipe from Southern Living, but I’m going to try your version this weekend. We, too, enjoy the Jimmy Dean w/ sage, but have been making our own sausage to avoid the nitrates and msg. Thanks so much for sharing! Looking forward to seeing what else you come up with. :) Blessings, ~Lisa

I tried your biscuit recipe this weekend. My husband loved them and I was very pleased. Making the gravy is next.
I really enjoy your blog and commend what you are trying to do. Teaching things that have become forgotten or just have not been learned. Keep up the good work.
