What are you passionate about? I mean really love doing?
What if money were not an issue?
What if you had no debt and an endless supply of money, how would you spend your days?
Consider your end goal:
- Is it to be filthy rich?
- To be famous?
- To make enough money to support your family?
- To just add to the family income?
- To make more so you can give more to others?
As you consider ways to grow your family economy:
- Think about what you are good at.
- Think about what you really enjoy doing.
- Think about things you’d like to learn that can be profitable.
- Think about things that other people tell you you are good at.
- Think about what truly excites you and how you can use that passion to create income and to make the world a better place.
God has given all of us special talents. Usually we need to be educated and trained to develop and perfect our talent. It doesn’t just happen, you have to work at it!
If you are older, you can still change the way you think. You can still learn new skills to generate income. Even more importantly, you can inspire and encourage your children and grandchildren to get out of the box and to use their passion to build their family wealth.
So think about it! Pray about it! Ask people around you for their opinion. Take one baby step at a time and use your life and your passion to build your personal/family economy!

This topic has been swimming around in our conversations thsi week. We were presented with an opportunity to join with the Sitka Art and Ecology Center - where people come to hone their arts, and be encouraged in their professional pursuit of them. I can encourage myself and the boys to draw, photograph, write, but I have NO idea on how to earn a living from it - and yet, it seems, in our neck of the woods so many people are. .. . I will continue to pray for the right contacts, information and encouragement!

Fantastic article, I have 2 things I do from home that I love to supplement our family income. I produce emails for small businesses that want them sent to their customer list. The second thing I do that I love the best, which is more seasonal in nature, is I sew doll clothes for 18 inch dolls. I work on this year round but the bulk of my income is prior to Christmas. I attend several craft shows in the fall. Our family also has many small things such as raising meat chickens and turkeys and growing strawberries. Since we are doing this for ourselves anyway it is not a big thing to add extra for others to bring in extra funds.
Lots of things available just take a look around God will bless the works of your hand.
