 Good Things on the Web

I sat rocking Javi the other day and the sunlight was hitting her face just right… I just wanted time to stand still, for everything to stay peaceful and beautiful. But that is selfish and that is not how battles are won, nor dominion taken, nor kingdoms built. So I snapped a picture so I can remember the fleeting moment. Isn’t she beautiful?!!!

I enjoy your links each week!

I heartily agree with the article on postpartum care. I had to have c-sections with both of my children, and we lived far from family. That was tough. Tougher than I would have admitted to anyone not related to me at the time (and probably not even my in-laws).

I look forward to being there for my daughter when she has babies, and even my future daughter-in-law if she wants me around. 🙂 That’s one of the many reasons that I don’t plan to work outside the home even when my children are raised.

Absolutely beautiful! You have every right to be proud of your new granddaughter. As a grandmother of soon-to-be seven, I encourage you to do this often. You are so wise to take the picture…the time goes all to
swiftly. Enjoy!
