What Every Family Really Needs to be Really Strong…
April 17, 2010
Every family has them, days that you say things you wish you didn’t say, reacting in anger and frustration, wishing you could take back time and make it right.
Many of us were not raised in a way that we were taught how to Biblicaly respond to conflict. Often as parents we hear ourselves saying things our parents said and with such a hurtful tone. What is even worse is when we see or hear our children responding as we have in the worse way, and we cringe knowing that it is our fault!
“When you talk, do not say harmful things, but say what people need—
words that will help others become stronger.“
Ephesians 4:29 (NCV)
Do you want your family strong? Your children strong? Not in a strength that *demands* they are right, but a strength that promotes peace, healing and love, now that is REAL strength!
Here is an EXCELLENT article that every parent should read, but be prepared to be convicted.
