Our garden is doing well, we’ve enjoyed eating off the lettuce. The herbs are really taking off. We will plant more in a week or so. If you leave room to plant a new row or section every 2 weeks you should be able to have a steady flow of ripe veggies. I only wish the lettuce would grow all summer, by July the Alabama heat will be too much for it.
So how is your garden going?
Go HERE to read what you need to do to be part of the From Seeds to Harvest Gardening Challenge and get in on the giveaways! It’s reall as easy as 1, 2, 3!!!

Congratulations Sharon! I’ve linked up for this week. Squash is turning yellow. Help!
Thank you!
Hello Mrs. Brodock!
My herbs are taking off too! The oregano and cilantro are the biggest so far. The rest of the garden is also growing very well. Everything has sprouted that I have planted. We will be going to the greenhouse soon for plants after the frost.
Hey there. This is so exciting thanks.:) To those who left me comments thanks.:) By the way how can prevent the crowding of my Zuchini plants? I wasn’t sure how to plant. Do I just leave them alone and see what happens? It may end up taking over all that area. Thanks again for the prize.:) I can’t wait to read them.:)
Sharon:)
Hi All, Well, we’ve gotten about 5 inches of rain in the past !few days here in Tennessee! So the severe drought is officially over. At the moment all our little babies in the garden are happy but, I have seen a garden go bad with that much rain, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we don’t have to deal with fungal problems this season.
If I could ever figure out how to use a blog and mr. linky, I’ll put up pics of our progress.
I put herb seeds in the straw bales and none have come up. i’ll need to reseed. Otherwise, my little babies are happy.
I finally posted correctly. Please see my funny garden. I’m going to go see all the other gardens!
I am so looking forward to harvesting some of our lettuce but it isn’t ready yet. Soon, though!
I realize this is pretty late to link up. Perhaps I should have waited until this Friday. I posted about some planters my dh made from recycled 2-liter bottles. He’s gotten great results!
