I am so fascinated with up-cycled t-shirts. It makes me want to go to the thrift store and buy a bunch!
I love this skirt!!! Wouldn’t it be cute with different colors?!

Titus 2:3 says that we are to be
"...teachers of good things...".
We believe that part of these good things are practical skills that we all need in every day life to care for our family and neighbors.
One of our primary responsibilities as parents is equip our children with the skills and tools to one day be productive, well rounded adults. Children need to be exposed to many different areas of work. Not only should they know how to work, but they should want to work.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us-
yes, establish the work of our hands.
Psalm 90:17

I’ve made these before with t-shirts from WallyWorld when they go on clearance for $1-3. Men’s shirts have the most fabric, of course. I also watch for clearance nightshirts to use. I like to make the skirt, then attach it to a t-shirt that’s one size larger than the person wears (cut it off about 3″ under the armpits) to make a dress! Clear as mud? lol The girls get inexpensive play dresses this way–and church dresses too!
