Today’s Table- Antipasto

July 28, 2010

Antipasto is made of bite-sized portions of meats, cheeses, pickles,

cucumbers, peppers, onions and olives

and is the first course of any good Italian meal.

Eating your meal in courses makes meal time more interactive and enjoyable. Antipasto comes from the word  antepasto, meaning before, and is served before the pasta course. It is meant to stimulate your appetite.

I love my antipasto served on romaine lettuce!

Here are several antipasto recipes.
