The Sweet Fellowship of Friends
December 1, 2010
Please bear with me while I count just a few of my blessings out loud…
I am very, VERY grateful for where God has placed our family. Because Jeff and I did not have the privilege of growing up in families that desired to honor and obey God, it amazes me even more where he has gently led us. He has placed us in a country with great freedom and in a region with breathtaking beauty and a church on every corner. ;o)
In His great wisdom He has placed us in a strong and loving church where we have grown in so many ways. We have never understood, nor enjoyed our lives in Christ as much as we do now.
God has also blessed us with such wise and dear friends. The kind of friends that you can just relax with and not worry about being misunderstood. Friends that honestly feel closer than biological siblings. When I am with these friends time seems to stand still. I know that I can call any of them and pour my heart out (the good and the bad) and they will listen. Not only will they listen, but they will give HONEST feedback; feedback that will encourage me to continue to be faithful to God, even if it is not what I want to hear. ;o)
When I think about how and where God has led us I am simply AMAZED! It is nothing we could have planned; His ways are so much better than our ways.
I am thankful for the sweet fellowship with the Saints. Sunday after church our three families went out to lunch (it wasn’t planned, we just did it). We had 3 families that totaled 21 people (and 3 of us were missing)!
What a pleasant time we had…
and the kids had a good time!
I can’t wait to dance that their weddings one day!

My friend, you are truly blessed! I loved the last part of celebrating with a dance on the wedding day of their precious children!
Hmmmm, I am searching the eyes of my friend. Do I see any relief from back pain?
