You are right, that the children feel more secure (... and that goes a long way, for their good, and for God's glory!) ... when mom and dad demonstrate (naturally, at home) their love for one another (in thoughtful, generous-hearted action, in attitude, in words). The enemy likes to test "commitments," doesn't he? But God is so much greater, & gives us all the Help we need, to resist the devil so he will flee! The Lord shows us He will enable us to be victorious in this "top-priority relationship!" It is so good to know Him! He is able!.... Thank you for sharing this, Kathy! My husband and I were called "Vel" & "Cro" back in college days (truly... we were!) and we were so in love. But now, it's so much deeper than it ever was back then. Yet, we do get lost in the hustle and bustle of life and we have to WORK on the romance part. Enjoy your alone time this week! I can relate so much to that song.
