The Best Gift We Can Give…

Last week I got to make a mess of my friend‘s kitchen and spend some time with some of my favorite little people making gingerbread houses.

Yes, new toys, gadgets and clothes are nice, but TIME really is the greatest gift we can give. If you have little people in your lives (even extended family or fiends) how about giving them a day of your life?

It is TIME that builds memories and binds hearts.

Do you have elderly people in your life that don’t get much attention? I bet they would love your TIME!

What about your spouse? The best gift you can give your spouse is your undivided attention for a day.  I’m planning something extra special for my husband, it won’t cost much, but it WILL BE a Christmas he will always remember! ;o) shhh don’t tell him I’m cooking something up…

If your loved ones live far away and you cannot spend a day with them, you can get on the phone and give them an hour of conversation.

Local charities usually need hands and feet (TIME) just as much as they need money donations.

Your children (or parents), no matter how old they are, NEED your time. More than likely in a couple years they will not remember the gifts they receive this year, but they will remember if you gave them some SPECIAL TIME!

TIME is our most precious commodity

and it is usually what we are the most stingy with.

I will be taking a break from blogging for a week (maybe even two) as I spend some special time with my family. May you all be blessed and keep the *Main Thing* the main thing! Without Jesus there is no hope!
