Snow… Again!

We awoke to about 5″ of snow this morning, which is beautiful, and thankfully we still have electricity!

All the roads are closed and not many people are moving out of their houses, although we did get a 4-wheeler visit from the Huie boys (they live a few miles away)! 

Hopefully the temps will rise tomorrow and this will start to melt, until then we will continue to play in the snow, do some school, sip mint tea…and coffee…and whatever else.

In the pictures above you can see that Jeff and I took our turns on the one and only sled (Josh bought Emma last SUMMER!).

We northern big kids tried to show Emma (the southern born girl) how it was done. After the two of us ended up in a ditch, Jeff rescued us…me!

The dog thought I needed help!

She then Emma tried to outdo us by snow surfing!

Dear Lord, Thank you for the beauty of the snow and the reminder of how You have washed away our sins to be whiter than snow, but I’ve had enough now…until next winter!  Also, would You pleeeeease continue to bless us with electricity! Thank you! Amen!
