		<description>I thought about doing this, but wouldn&#039;t you need to be concerned about it leaching into the ground beside the pathway? I would imagine that eventually it would damage the gardens or grasses beside. 

I used borax, which is also natural, on a flat grassy anthill once. It killed the quack grass there, which surprised me, and after three years, there is still no grass growing there, and the area around is not affected. Only now did some new ants appear there. I found that to be quite interesting. Have you ever tried doing this?</description>
