Remembering the Mighty Life of William

Who defines Life?
It is not the length of life, or the events in life that gives it meaning. It’s not the amount of money that one can make nor the degrees and accomplishments that can be hung on a wall. It’s not about your title or job description.
God creates life, He knew us before the foundations of the earth. He gives each of us special gifts and talents, He designed not only our physical; but also our emotional and spiritual being.
As humans seeing through flawed, dimly lit eyes we grasp to try understand what we believe to be unreasonable and unfair. When there hard circumstances that make no sense, and there appears to be nothing good to come of it, that is when we call on Jesus to make our faith real, believing in what we cannot see, KNOWING He is a good God and in complete control!
Two years ago a much loved little boy passed from this earth, from the warmth and safety of his mother’s womb into the glorious presence of God Himself. It was a time of deep grieving not only for his family, but for all of us that loved him so much. He is no longer suffering from a human, dying body (we’re all dying), but he has been called into LIFE, eternal LIFE, perfect LIFE!
Today he would be celebrating his 2nd birthday, but God chose to bring him home to celebrate EVERY day! The road of mourning his earthly life has been a hard one, especially for his family, but at the same time it has been good. I’ve seen the great work of our heavenly Father in William’s parents, I’ve seen it in his siblings. They hurt deeply, but they also love deeply; they give and then give some more. It is true that God does give beauty for your ashes, if you are willing.
It is only natural to wonder ‘why’ (I’ve been there more than a couple times), but when there is no answer we must continue to say, “Yes, Lord, I am your’s and You are mine.”
Who defines life? God. Although William never took an earthly breath, nor bore witness with his spoken words, his life was lived to it’s fullest. God used William’s life to bring glory to himself, and there is no greater worth than that!

This is so beautiful. I have been reading Robin’s blog for quite a while & have seen it before, but it’s definitely a fitting tribute to her precious William to post again – such a wonderful witness for the Lord.
Blessings
Renata
Thanks Renata.
