Here are some pictures from a rehearsal dinner we helped with.
Our friends own this GORGEOUS house.
It was a LOT of work, but the celebration of a marriage is worth it!!!

Titus 2:3 says that we are to be
"...teachers of good things...".
We believe that part of these good things are practical skills that we all need in every day life to care for our family and neighbors.
One of our primary responsibilities as parents is equip our children with the skills and tools to one day be productive, well rounded adults. Children need to be exposed to many different areas of work. Not only should they know how to work, but they should want to work.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us-
yes, establish the work of our hands.
Psalm 90:17

What a beautiful place to have a rehearsal dinner! You did excellent work, Kathy!
Jane says:
Kathy,
Does all that serving equipment/glassware for the food belong to you or the client? We though of trying our hand in a little bit of catering but don’t own a whole lot of equipment to start. Also, the decorating materials, do you own that and use it over again?
It’s all looks beautiful!
Kathy says:
Jane,
Some of the serving equipment was mine (we do catering), but most of what is pictured belongs to the groom’s parents. I buy as I need things. Seems like every wedding or party I add to our supplies. I stick to classic and versatile things. All my dishes are glass or white, I have some silver and stainless steel. These match any color scheme.
If there are things that someone request that I cannot budget into the price, sometimes those things can be rented.
As far as decorations. I have some stuff, but that is usually the responsibility of the client. If they do use my stuff, especially table cloths, I charge a fee.

How elegant! I so enjoy the pictures. When we have more than one moment, we’ll check out the cake tutorial. Looks great.
Please continue to share the pictures of your catering affairs; it’s very inspiring.
