Real Food Link Up Party – How and When to Prune Chart
February 21, 2012
I’ve written about the importance of planting fruit bearing trees and bushes for your family economy before. These trees/bushes require so little maintenance, but can produce so much REAL FOOD not only for your family now, but for generations to come!
Pruning is necessary to maintain the health of your bushes and trees. Pruning is best done when the bush/tree is dormant, either in the late fall or the early spring, spring is often the preferred time.
Here is a great chart to help you know when and how to prune. It would be great to print off and add to your garden journal.
The Real Food Link Up series will be posted each Wednesday. Please share how you are incorporating healthy REAL food to your diet, even if it is just baby steps.
