Guess what happens when you leave your heirloom seedlings, the seedlings you have nurtured for weeks bringing them in and out from the cold,

and you leave them out on the deck and someone locks the new puppy on the deck too?
Yes, it is true. It makes me sick…
but it is still early in the season and we will start all over again…sigh.
Here is a great post about record keeping and garden layouts.
How is your garden going? Have you started anything yet? We have some potatoes growing and we’re getting the ground tilled.
The Real Food Link Up series will be posted each Wednesday. Please share how you are incorporating healthy REAL food to your diet, even if it is just baby steps, OR how your garden plans are coming along.

Titus 2:3 says that we are to be
"...teachers of good things...".
We believe that part of these good things are practical skills that we all need in every day life to care for our family and neighbors.
One of our primary responsibilities as parents is equip our children with the skills and tools to one day be productive, well rounded adults. Children need to be exposed to many different areas of work. Not only should they know how to work, but they should want to work.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us-
yes, establish the work of our hands.
Psalm 90:17

I can relate!! Sort of… you also don’t want to use the top of your van as a holding spot to give your heirloom seedlings access to the sun. 144 seedlings…. my first ever heirloom seeds. We had nurtured them for 3 weeks. I guess they are in a ditch somewhere between Oneonta and Moody. Ironically, I had them on the van to keep the dogs out of them! We are starting all over again, also..
