Mega-Grilling and Super-Size It!

May 5, 2009

When cooking, SUPER SIZE IT!

Another way to save time and money in the kitchen is to grill a bunch of meat at one time. This way you are not heating up the kitchen and making a pile of dirty pans.

Once it is grilled and cooled I package it in freezer bags and freeze, leaving out a couple day’s worth meat. To warm it I just pop it in the microwave or a skillet with just a little water.

This is probably my favorite way to cook meat.

Another option to save time is to make a big pot of soup and eat from it for lunches most of the week.

If you don’t want to do the once a month cooking, or bi-monthly cooking, try cooking double the amount  (super-size-it) when you cook. Eat it the next night or freeze it for next week.

These are the biggest time savers I know!
