Learning to Serve

February 11, 2010

Emma has been working through the Pioneer Woman cookbook and doing very well!

This cookbook really is a great starting place for beginners; it has wonderful pictures and instructions!

Emma has recently started to help a military wife with her 4 little ones while the husband is in Baghdad. She goes for a day or two once a week or every other week depending on schedules and school work. One of her goals is to take a meal when she goes. Pictured is the delicious meatloaf she made. Because we have no little ones in our family right now this is great training for Emma, as she learns to care for these sweet souls. It is a win win situation!

Well, it would be fun for me, but I’m not sure how Emma would feel about it!
