It’s just not reality!

I love to look through homemaking magazines to get decorating ideas; but I've come to realize that a home full of PEOPLE and PRODUCTIVITY will NOT look like a Better Homes and Garden home, any more than I will look like a woman on the cover of a magazine. It's just not reality!

A breath of fresh air!!! Sometimes people say, "if it won't look "perfect" I won't do it." They lose sight of what the point is. In reality we are here to glorify God to the best of our ability.

The ONLY way our homes could ever look like those magazines is if we stop LIVING in them. Not that we couldn’t reside in them, but we and our families would certainly not live in and enjoy them.
For me, there are simply not enough hours in the day (nor dollars in the wallet!) to make it all picture perfect. I do love an organized, well-picked up home, and I’m all for doing what I can with what I have to make my home comfortable and inviting.
A home full of productivity and hospitality is what I’m shooting for; thanks for encouraging us along the way!
