Another tip for laundry came to me recently out of sheer desperation! (We have 10 children and produce lots of laundry!)
I have labeled different hampers with towels and washcloths, pants and jeans, shirts, and one for dresses. Its amazing how much time this saves. Think of it--a basket of towels takes maybe 2 minutes to fold--same with jeans. But a basket of mixed clothes with socks and underwear, shirts etc. takes forever to get sorted and matched. This way we speed up our folding process, which is my biggest challenge anyway. Its easy to wash them!! The washer does that. The hard part is folding and putting them away.

Thanks for this post. I have had laundry on the brain lately and have thought it was high time to put a 3-bin hamper in the childrens' bathroom and have them begin sorting and turning right-side out their own laundry. I still do all the washing, but it would cut out a lot of my time standing at the washer turning clothes and sorting. Thanks for the movtivation!
