How to Achieve Less Chaos in Your Life – Part 1

God is a God of order.

He designed all of us with a purpose… a calling.

He ordained a line of authority.

Within that purpose and authority we have a domain.

Whenever we violate His order we create chaos.

God created man

…then He created woman for the man

…and then children from the man and woman to fill the earth, to train up and to build His kingdom.

There is an order of purpose, authority and dominion for all of these.

Men are to be the leaders, the woman and the children are to submit to him. It’s not that they do not have a voice, nor that they are not important, but the man is the leader…the final authority. This is God’s plan.

Let a child try to rule over his parents and you will have total chaos in the home. We all know this is true, yet many homes revolve around the children either as parents cater to all of their child’s desires or as the child is ignored and not trained up to be a responsible adult.

Let a woman try to rule over her husband and there will be conflict and chaos. It happens all the time…we all do it, we think we are so much smarter than our husbands. We forget God’s order.

Let the man neglect his duty as the leader and provider for the woman…for the family, and then you have the highest level of chaos, because it effects everyone.

There will always be some chaos, strife and tension because we live in a fallen world, and until the Lord returns we will have to work at keeping order in our relationships and in our homes.

What can you do today to regain God’s order in your home?

It is not a one time fix. It is something that has to be worked on EVERY DAY.  We all want our own way, we all want to be in charge. We all have a sin nature that needs daily crucifixion.

Ask the Lord to show you where you need to be more submissive.

Ask Him where you need to be more diligent.

Titus 2:3 says that we are to be "...teachers of good things...". We believe that part of these good things are practical skills that we all need in every day life to care for our family and neighbors. One of our primary responsibilities as parents is equip our children with the skills and tools to one day be productive, well rounded adults. Children need to be exposed to many different areas of work. Not only should they know how to work, but they should want to work. May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us- yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17
