This is what homeschooling looks like on a cold winter’s morning and sickness strikes (again!).

Everyone piles up in Mom’s bed for the morning and we do LOTS of reading and talking and snuggling.

And those that are able, stay awake.

The show must go on!
The first day back to a regular school schedule after so much sickness and the holidays in December and the boy wakes up with a fever. Oh well… education is a lifestyle for us, not a building to report to or a schedule to keep.

Titus 2:3 says that we are to be
"...teachers of good things...".
We believe that part of these good things are practical skills that we all need in every day life to care for our family and neighbors.
One of our primary responsibilities as parents is equip our children with the skills and tools to one day be productive, well rounded adults. Children need to be exposed to many different areas of work. Not only should they know how to work, but they should want to work.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us-
yes, establish the work of our hands.
Psalm 90:17

Thanks for sharing such sweet pictures. Reminds me of schooling during winter sick days when my boys were young! Sweet times, but good character building times too. You are doing a great job.
