Happy Birthday Ellie and Josie!
September 19, 2010
It’s been pretty quiet on this blog for several reasons; I’ve been battling some sickness that has zapped all of my energy and inspiration, but hopefully I will get back on track this week.
Samantha, Bria and Emma ——– Laura, Johanna, Johnathan and Emma
Last week was our county fair and for the first time in about 15 years I did not enter anything, nor work it at all. The girls entered a few things, herbs, baked goods, etc… Emma made her 4-H booth with a focus on rebounding.
Today we celebrated the White twins first birthday! God has been so good! As we celebrated God’s amazing providence in bringing the girls to the White’s family, we have to also remember their big brother’s going home. It’s a sweet thing to celebrate life with these girls, but it is also bitter as we remember who is missing. Scott and Robin have been a Godly example of persevering through heartache and loss, choosing to live life to it’s fullest. Many people would fall into the pit of dispare and self-pity when faced with such pain, but Scott and Robin have chosen to continue to live in obedience; I am so THANKFUL that they have because it sure does make my life sweeeter!

We celebrated after worship today with our church family. Their ‘party’ theme was The Princess and the Frog. Since we knew the girls were the princess, I figured we needed some frogs to make it complete. I made these from marshmallow fondant.
Here is a little video clip celebrating their first year!
