I totally do that too - recycle fabric. One of my favorite skirts is made from an old flowered sheet. I love how cool and crisp and soft and pretty it is - probably 20+ years later. Some of my favorite places to "find" fabric are sheets, tablecloths, curtains, etc. I look for them at thrift stores and yard sales all the time. Some of my favorite dresses were made from sheets. They don't wrinkle and just get softer and softer with each wash. Dana (who is off to do some sewing in just a minute!) I LOVE to to do sewing projects with fabrics from other things!
