I use my cast iron skillet for just about everything from the stove top to the oven!
My cast iron dutch oven is a favorite. I love that it has a handle to hang in a tripod over an open fire.

Titus 2:3 says that we are to be
"...teachers of good things...".
We believe that part of these good things are practical skills that we all need in every day life to care for our family and neighbors.
One of our primary responsibilities as parents is equip our children with the skills and tools to one day be productive, well rounded adults. Children need to be exposed to many different areas of work. Not only should they know how to work, but they should want to work.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us-
yes, establish the work of our hands.
Psalm 90:17

A local store carries the cast iron cookware–all of it–but I have no idea how you’d use a dutch oven with FEET unless you did use it outdoors….and then I’d have no idea how to do that! On one hand, how do you keep from burning things, and on the other hand, how do you get it hot enough to actually cook anything? You’re going to have to share details about this, ok?
Blessings–
