Fiber Arts Monday – Yo-Yo (video)
January 29, 2012
Yo-Yos are a simple project. There are all kinds of projects that can be made with them, including complete quilts!
Like this one from I am Along for the Ride.
Printable instructions from SewMamaSew.
A yo-yo garland from The Tortoise and the Hare.
Someday I want to make one for our Christmas tree.
Here is a neat way to use yo-yos from Style Me Pretty.
Fiber art is anything that includes stitching, weaving, quilting, sewing, rug making, crocheting, knitting, spinning, etc…
Each Monday we can share ideas, patterns, finished projects and ask questions about fiber arts in the comment section.
You can also link up to your blog post or photo account that is related to fiber arts, I just ask that you link back to the most current Fiber Arts Monday post. Just leave your post link in the comment section and tell us what it is.
So how ’bout it? Do you have a project you are working or want to work on? Let’s share some inspiration!

Wonderful project ideas! I love yo yo’s, but find them a bit frustrating since it takes so long to get enough. My mother in law has a yo yo quilt on a full size bed made my her aunt..it is so beautiful and priceless. May be someday I will have such a stash of yo yo’s to make such a piece!
Sharing my knitting & crochet goals for 2012 along with the results of organizing my abundant yarn stash. Won’t need to be buying any yarn for a while…
Thanks for hosting, Kathy. The yo-yos look like fun…if only I had the time to try something new!
Blessings,
Lisa
