I’m still working on my baby blanket I started last week, I should be able to get it done this week.
I came across this great way of teaching young children some basic needle skills.
Light that fire while they are young, very young!
Fiber art is anything that includes stitching, weaving, quilting, sewing, rug making, crocheting, knitting, spinning, etc…
Each Monday we can share ideas, patterns, finished projects and ask questions about fiber arts in the comment section.
You can also link up to your blog post or photo account that is related to fiber arts, I just ask that you link back to the most current Fiber Arts Monday post. Just leave your post link in the comment section and tell us what it is.
So how ’bout it? Do you have a project you are working or want to work on? Let’s share some inspiration!

I am knitting a pile of knit wash clothes for babies coming to our friends soon, and the same patterns as dish clothes for gifts – my stash is low.

Hi Kathy,
It’s been a while since I dropped by for your Fiber Arts Monday — summer is busy!! I’m working on a knitted lacy scarf for my oldest daughter. Progress is slow, but it’s coming along nicely.
A friend of mine makes all her baby blankets with the same yarn you’re using for yours. Is your county fair in September? Ours is always the second week of August; September would be wonderful!
Blessings to you and yours, ~Lisa

Our fair is the middle of Sept, I’m hoping to get a few things finished, other than my canned goods. I love your scarf!
