I’ve been busy sewing quilts for a custom Etsy order (a fall wedding), as well as sewing quilted bags for graduation gifts.

We also made a discovery this week – 18″ doll clothes (at least the kind I make) will fit Baby Alive! It’s a snug fit, but it works great. My daughter was thrilled. :)

I can’t wait to see what everyone else is working on, and I can’t wait to see that baby hat modeled on something (or someone). I love the floppy brim look. :)

Happy Monday! I haven’t had much time this week to be crocheting, or knitting, or sewing because I’ve been busy watching my dear friend’s year old baby for the past nine days! What a treat it’s been to have the little guy around (our youngest is ten)! He goes home tomorrow, and as much as we’ll miss him, I’m looking forward to a return to my usual schedule including finishing up a baby blanket for an upcoming shower. Kathy, like you, I’ll be continuing work on a baby hat and booties for yet another shower…we have lots of them at our church! I’m sharing a link to a post from last week that shows the progress I’ve made so far on the baby blanket. Thanks for hosting!

    Until next Monday, ~Lisa
