Ever Thought about Making Money from Home?
September 17, 2009
I get e-mail quite often asking for advice on how to make money from home. First, let me tell you that no matter which route you take it will consist of A LOT OF WORK! So if you are not afraid of learning, making mistakes and working hard, then working from home may be just the thing for you.
I also believe that we should be equipping our children with as many skills as possible to provide for themselves and their families one day. The internet is a perfect way to do this. The more freedom you have to work according to your time schedule, your skill level and your passion, the more purpose you will feel in your daily life.
As stay at home wives we can add to the family’s income by earning money and saving money…all at your finger tips on the keyboard!
You can take your interest and passion in life to help others and make money.
Ask yourself a few questions:
What do I enjoy doing?
What have other people told me I am good at?
Am I willing to accept advice and constructive criticism?
Am I willing to continue to learn new ways to improve and market my product or service?
Are there ways I can use my skills and business to help people?
Do I want to do this just because I want to make money or is there is bigger goal/purpose?
Once you figure out what you want to market you will need a few things to get started. I will list the services I have used or currently use. Most of these are affiliate links, which is all a part of business. I would not recommend these products or services unless I whole heartedly believe in them. Some of these I have figured out the hard way.
Go to our Making Money from Home page for a list of resources.
Listen to the interview I did with Olivia Montgomery at The Happy Home Executive, about how to write an e-book. The is an excellent way to create a product with no money involved.
