I've come here from Kelly's website. (Absolutely love the design her son came up with, sooo sweet!)
I am so excited!
We have a quasi-Charlotte Mason approach to homeschooling, so I'm always looking for practical activities for the children. You website looks like it'll be a great resource for a super-busy mom of 5! I'll be checking back frequently for ideas!

Kathy,

I would love to make money from home. I really hate going off to work and leaving the kids. Even if they are with family I just really really don't want to. I had to start working back in March and am just miserable! I work from 8-4:30 Mon-Friday. My job isn't hard I just hate being away from home and my family!!

I have to figure out something. In my spare time I have been trying to quilt but I don't have a lot of spare time.

Any suggestions for a mom of 5 young kids?

I have this dream of how I want things to be and this is SO not it. DH says well, I don't want you to have to work but we have a big family and you have to work. I said well, I just feel like because we do have a big family is why I should be home.

I'm just praying that God will help us with this.....soon.

Just had to let it out.

Hugs and Many Blessings to your family. I admire your family for what you all are doing.

I just love this! What a great way to work together!

Do you all do the festival over in Springville? The name of it is slipping my mind for the moment, but I used to love going to that as a child!

My girls sat and made soap balls with me for an hour this morning. It's so wonderful having them work along side me!

Brandie is my "Packaging Department" when I make bows for a nearby gymnastics/cheerleading gym. She's only 6, but loves her important job!
