Encourage Kids to Be Entrepreneurs

How many people do you know that hate their job, or are even working a job that they do not love?
How many kids do you know that are full of energy and ideas, who struggle sitting in a classroom all day?
Take 20 minutes and watch this. His message is great, but I do not condone cheating, etc… but his way of thinking is how entrepreneurs and leaders think and we are so programmed to cram their abilities into a box within the boundaries of being a follower. If we encouraged more kids to use what God put in them rather than telling them to sit still and be quiet just imagine what would be unleashed!!!
The only way for our economy to improve as a family and as a nation is for people to be driven to make it happen, to think big, be willing to fail and get up again, to be able to solve problems which takes being able to THINK.
This is a part of why I love home education. It allows us the freedom to raise leaders that can use their ability to create and to change the world! It allows them to find what they are passionate about and pursue it.
When I first watched this, my first thought was how he thinks SO MUCH like my husband. He use to sell a stick of gum to his own siblings when he was a kid!

I absolutely loved this…almost cried during the mini-video at the end
My kids are always wanting to know what they can do to earn money. But what sorts of things can kids do that doesnt involve governement interference? What about a business license? I wonder how many of the things that guy did would be allowed now without fees, permits etc. Do you think going door to door with stuff is a good idea?
