Confessions of a Busy Mom

OK…I am going to be extremely REAL with all of you. 

In my quest of being productive and always wanting to learn new things, I have a tendency…OK, more than a tendency, to be too busy. It is very hard for me to just play or just hang out with my teens. I am try to take time to "smell the roses/irises", but there always seems to be something urgent to take care of. I think a part of this is simply because I am having to learn so much as an adult. Our lifestyle is so radically different than how my husband and I were raised.

Even though our kids have been (still are) with us every day-all day, learning along side of us, there is still a need to just take time out and do nothing (play) together. So to celebrate Mother’s Day I am turning my computer off tonight and just do whatever my kids want to do. I’ll be back bright and early Monday morning! )

Life is too precious and seasons pass to quickly not to enjoy them! Call your mother and grandmothers.
