Interesting. My husband was just answering my 6 year old son the other day, when said son was whining about how none of his friends have ‘so many’ chores to do. They don’t have to make their beds and clean their rooms before baseball practice, etc. After the first answer:( i.e. they are not a part of our family, their parents make decisions for their families and we are responsible for ours, in our family we all contribute, we take care of our blessings, we work with a glad heart, etc.) he threw in how we want to teach our children to have a good work ethic. Huh? What’s a work ethic? My husband said he would get back to him with a good definition. So, thank you for a good definition to share with our son!
