Teaching Good Things, Practical Skills for Real Life

Equipping Families with Practical Skills for Real Life!

Building a Family Economy – Lawn Care

This week I’ve posted some good videos about lawn care. This will not only save you money, but you can also make money if you know what you are doing. Every young man (and woman) should be able to at the very least mow grass and weed eat, and along with that he should be able to do some basic maintenance to the mower and weed eater.  The more you can do for yourself, the stronger your family economy will be.

This site and he has TONS of good information not only about having a lawn care business, but he also shares a bunch of good business sense that could be applied to many occupations! He has a lot of free videos and audios. If you have someone in your family that this may be their niche then I suggest you check this site out: Lawn Care Millionaire

I’m also posting at The Legacy of the Home!

Titus 2:3 says that we are to be "...teachers of good things...". We believe that part of these good things are practical skills that we all need in every day life to care for our family and neighbors. One of our primary responsibilities as parents is equip our children with the skills and tools to one day be productive, well rounded adults. Children need to be exposed to many different areas of work. Not only should they know how to work, but they should want to work. May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us- yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17
