I fixed the link to the tutorial to make your own dishtowel. These would make GREAT Christmas gifts or hostess gifts. The sewing skills are minimal on this project, so get those kiddos being productive with their hands. Our goal this year is that all Christmas gifts will be handmade.

I also decorate cakes…..took 3 wilton classes offered at our local Jo-Ann Fabric when we had our first child. You are right that it is a wonderful talent to have and share with others. I am 38 with 7 kids….baby at not quite 3 months. All of the bath products sound great…so I would have a hard time choosing…..don’t you just love extended , drawn-out celebrations? What a blessing your friends and daughters are! The stuff of life! anyway….hope your new year is a good one…
