Is there any list that you would recommend a young parent looking at in order to get their own thoughts on the right track in this area? Not to just take from another person's work, but some of us could use at least a boost to come up with a good list. We are more than willing to work on those things, it is just weeding through all the garbage and seeing what is best. I guess it is ok to borrow brains sometimes? You are right that our generation tends to have no idea of what things are really important activities, and there is a lot of pressure involved sometimes. Thanks in advance.

Once the kids are grown and gone, you can't teach these things! Do it while there is still time. We won't do it perfectly but we can look back without regret. Great article.

Kathy,

Once again, you have hit the nail on the head. I appreciate your reminders to be training and teaching our children for LIFE. The part about relationship skills is so vital. Thanks!
