Another Family Doing It Like the Old Days

June 9, 2009

I saw this story on our local news over the weekend and I just loved it! It is about family business, and finding something you love to do. It shows a bit about the olden’ days. Just thought I’d pass it along (wait through the commercial).

I’m sure there are a lot of pros and cons in having your home and business in one place, but I’ll bet the pros far out weight the cons, that is if your heart’s desire is to be WITH YOUR FAMILY!

Love it (anything Alabama since that’s where I grew up!)

    That was excellent!
You know, there’s a store nearby us that still has a meat counter and they still wrap it in the white paper. It’s where I buy 98% of our meat. Can’t beat it!

    Hi Kathy,

Just this evening, my son’s great uncle asked him what he wanted to do when he grew up. My son, who is 15, said that he wanted to be an entrepreneur. My uncle replied that he guessed that Ben wanted to get rich.
My son said, “No, I just want to be with my family.”
His great uncle said no more.

    Thanks for the story.
