An Interview for Simple Times Magazine

September 29, 2008

A couple of weeks ago our daughters met a reporter at their shooting club, she was real interested in our girls and why they would want to learn about shooting. That evening the reporter called and said she wanted to do an interview about our family and our way of life/business/website. I knew she was pro-homeschool so I felt pretty good about it.

This morning she came out and spent a couple hours with us, it was very enjoyable; although I was nervous she made us comfortable. She will be featuring us in Simple Times, a statewide magazine, next month (Nov.) and in our local newspaper this month (Oct.). The only down side was having our picture taken…I hate having my picture taken.

So that was a pretty full morning!  Now back to work on the quilting DVD.

:) I don’t really know any Mom who likes having her picture taken. I have to say though … you take good pictures. Most of us are way to critical of ourselves. Hope you’ll put a link to your local paper when the article comes out. I’d love to read that!
