What a week!!! In case you missed it, here is how it all began.
Our first estimate was for $3000 to take this monster of a tree down. Next estimate was $2800. After a couple days of praying and WAITING we received an estimate of $1400! whoo hoo!
It was amazing to watch these guys work.
They whipped that chain saw around as if it were a butter knife on a hot roll!
Fire wood for sale!
This was part of the trunk that fell off Tuesday.
What a lesson this holds; you can look healthy and strong on the outside
and meanwhile your heart is rotten (sinful),
which will eventually cause you to CRASH AND BURN.

Grrrrrrreat application, Kathy! Thank you for posting an update! Maybe some of the firewood will help with the bill of $1400! So glad it all turned out ok.
Wow! Taking out trees is much more expensive in Alabama than it is in Indiana! We had to have TWO taken out last year and the total for BOTH was less than $1000. In fact, I’m thinking it was around $800. At least you don’t have to fear it crashing through your roof if a wind blows through.
