Equipping Families with Practical Skills for Real Life!

A Load of Pallets!!!

Emma’s fiancee Josh, found a great pile of pallets for FREE! He and Jeff brought them home.

I love this picture, not just because of what will be made with the pallets, but I love seeing Josh with Jeff. It blesses me so much that they enjoy being together, I really do feel like I am gaining a son and not loosing a daughter.

I love that Josh is a hard worker and nothing is beneath him. This brings such encouragement and comfort to me and Jeff because we know he will always do what he needs to to provide for Emma and their one-day-family.

Little men learn how to be real men by being with them,

talking with them and playing with them,

but mostly by working along side them!

Titus 2:3 says that we are to be "...teachers of good things...". We believe that part of these good things are practical skills that we all need in every day life to care for our family and neighbors. One of our primary responsibilities as parents is equip our children with the skills and tools to one day be productive, well rounded adults. Children need to be exposed to many different areas of work. Not only should they know how to work, but they should want to work. May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us- yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17

Such a gift in that relationship. I have heard the phrase son or daughter in love instead of in law. I like that and it seems perfectly fitting!!
