Those of you that have read this blog for long know we love the county fair! We love getting out and seeing people that we don’t see very often.
We also love the opportunities to enter items we’ve made or grown. It’s also a great way to make some money, we’re all for finding was to teach the kids to be creative and productive.
This was the little kids first time to go to a county fair. They loved making things to enter.

Cherish came home with 4 blue ribbons and a yellow one, along with $38 in prize money!

Hayden won 3 red ribbons and a blue which equaled $22!
(Look at how dirty those boy’s nails are! I didn’t realize until I put this picture up.)

And Emma, this was her last year to do her individual 4-H booth. She won $60.

Titus 2:3 says that we are to be
"...teachers of good things...".
We believe that part of these good things are practical skills that we all need in every day life to care for our family and neighbors.
One of our primary responsibilities as parents is equip our children with the skills and tools to one day be productive, well rounded adults. Children need to be exposed to many different areas of work. Not only should they know how to work, but they should want to work.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us-
yes, establish the work of our hands.
Psalm 90:17
