When you became an adult and set up your own home could you efficiently :
- prepare nutritious meals
- balance a budget
- make home repairs
- keep your home clean and organized
- nurture healthy, loving relationships?
These areas are usually a struggle for people because they are not taught from a young age how to show personal responsibility and diligence within the home.
Teaching Good Things is dedicated to encourage you and your family to become more equipped in the area of practical skills, strong character and family unity. We have a passion for encouraging young entrepreneurs and home education.
Scroll down for our most recent blog post, or check out all the tutorials geared for the women folk or the men folk, although we are firm believers that both genders need to be skilled in both areas!
And don’t forget to check out our instructional DVDs and e-books in our store!

Titus 2:3 says that we are to be
"...teachers of good things...".
We believe that part of these good things are practical skills that we all need in every day life to care for our family and neighbors.
One of our primary responsibilities as parents is equip our children with the skills and tools to one day be productive, well rounded adults. Children need to be exposed to many different areas of work. Not only should they know how to work, but they should want to work.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us-
yes, establish the work of our hands.
Psalm 90:17
